I’m back after my week off. It was half-term and my better half is a teacher so I took the week off to spend some time with her. It was all a bit of a last minute thing so only managed to find time to go to London for the day (where we met Michelle, Ruth, Mandy and Richard) and then a couple of days up in York. If you are ever in York then a visit to Ask in the Assembly Rooms is well worth a visit for a meal although the second place we ate in was much more personal and friendly. I’ve forgotten the restaurant name but it was an Italian on Goodramgate - near to Travelling man where I bought some packs of Pirates of the Spanish Main to see what it plays like.
