Smash, books and sheep costumes
It was an odd sort of start to the morning, sitting in my car on Beauchamp Avenue waiting for a gap to cross what I presume is called Kenilworth Road. There was all sorts of traffic around with people waiting to turn right and cars passing on both sides, it was obviously going to take a while for a gap to appear. But not for the guy coming the other way down Beauchamp Avenue. Oh no, he decides that he’s just going to go for it anyway, much to the detriment of the poor women in her little Ford Ka. He’d managed to get up to a fair speed from a standing start too; they both nearly made it into the front of my car. Its amazing in these situations how many people just pretend they haven’t seen anything and make their way around the accident and on their merry way. Still, she’s got my number in case she needs me to tell someone how much of an idiot the other guy was. And I wrote down the license plates too, just in case. I’m presuming its another of those incidents where the traffic on his side of the road stops to let him out and he presumes that its clear on the other side even though he can’t see (actually he must have been able to see that it was flowing freely)!
