The Spam and Phishing problem
I’m looking forward to hearing what Ben Adida, an MIT crypto type of guy, has to say about stopping spam emails in the coming weeks and months. According to his blog, thats exactly what he’ll be doing.

Edit: Maybe I should point out that the reason he felt the need to post about it is that Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, have decided to push ahead and implement their Sender ID approach at Hotmail. It breaks all sorts of things that are nice about the current email model.
