New K750i
First impressions are good. I’m a staunch Nokia user so some of the slight differences are annoying me but I’m sure with time I’ll get used to the Sony Ericsson way. One of the reasons I got it was the 2.0 megapixel auto-focus camera. I’m hoping it’ll be good enough (at least in daylight) for me not to bother getting a “proper” digital camera any time soon.
So heres a quick test I took this morning of my desk which gets no direct sunlight at all:
Which does look a little grainy but not too bad. The preview type picture on the fotopic site looks even better though. I’m not sure what algorithm has been used to shrink it but it seems to have done a good job. Perhaps the image editing software you get with the camera can do similar good things to grainy pictures. We’ll have to wait and see…
