Stardust - The Movie
As anyone who knows me at all will attest to, I like the work of Neil Gaiman. Quite a bit. I’m always a little dubious about how books you love will turn out as films though - we all know its often a huge disappointment. But if Neil is breathing a huge sigh of relief and is describing Stardust thus:
I’ve been trying to think of what to compare it to, but it’s leaving me a bit blank — it exists half-way between The Princess Bride and Pirates of the Caribbean, and there’s nothing I’ve seen quite like it out there in the world before.
Then either he doesn’t know what he’s talking about or its going to be brilliant. I know which I’m voting for
