Copyright confusion
Err, this article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/6186436.stm) seems to suggest that once your copyright runs out, in 50 years, you stop getting paid for your work. A bit odd that, you’d think you’d still get paid for your work, just that other people would no longer have to pay you to use it. Plus, of course, composers still get their 70 years worth of protection. Not that I had much respect for many members of the recording industry before, but honestly… I don’t know what to say.
